For all positions, ARS will maintain a standing list of interested applicants and will notify personnel on that list when a position becomes available.

 

Safety Standby

  • Our safety standby team covers standby rescue services for confined space, high angle, water rescue, and hazardous materials work. Applicants must be certified with IDHS Rope Rescue Tech and Confined Space Tech and must be currently active with a career fire department.

  • Certified FFI/II EMTs without the technical rescue certs. can be considered for Confined Space Entrant Attendant positions as well. ARS will provide the required training to qualify you as an OSHA conspace attendant.

  • ARS also provides firewatch services to many clients throughout central Indiana. This position requires IDHS certifcation in FF I/II and affiliation with a career fire department (retired career firefighters may also apply).

ARS Fire Protection Division (Contract Firefighter)

ARSFPD provides part-time and full-time firefighter staffing to industrial clients, including a large pharmaceutical company in downtown Indianapolis. This position is for an industrial 911 response agency covering fire, EMS, hazardous materials, and technical rescue. Applicants must posses IDHS certification in EMT and Firefighter I/II. If offered a position, applicant will complete training in rope rescue, confined space rescue, and hazardous materials technician prior to placement.
